The show was held on Saturday, 2nd July 2022 when the scary incident took place. As per another report, Chris was behind the wheel of the truck called “Shockwave Jet Truck” when it fly by or through a blast and comes up to be in scary flames which generated the streak of debris and smoke which was recorded on the viral video. The video of the incident is giving goosebumps and making rounds on all social media platforms. Netizens are feeling sorry and sad for the family of the deceased. It was not clear whether the burst of the scary flames, which made a shadow of dark black smoke, was part of the anticipated display.

When the scary incident took place at that time 2 prop aircraft were showing their performance aerial tricks and airborne low higher than trucks which competed and completing the runway. Neal Darnell, the father of Darnell accused the failure of the machine of the terrible accident and the death of his son. He made this accusation through his Facebook page. His father stated in the post which reads that “We are feeling broken, sad, and shattered. Just 1 month back Chris celebrated his 40th birthday. He was very near to my heart and was adored by everyone who ever met him. He was very much fons of the business of Air Show.”
