Josh Humphrey was an incredibly talented journalist and we were very lucky to have him grace our pages with his work. We will all miss him terribly but will cherish the time we had with him as a friend and colleague. Josh Humphrey is survived by his wife, father, step-mother, brother, and cousins. Josh’s death affected a lot of people, both in the community and outside of it. In his memory, there is a scholarship in support of graduates of Meigs High School and Hamilton Community Schools

Walt Disney World was his passion. In more ways than one, he was able to take that passion and turn it into a career. He loved interacting with fans on working for the biggest fans in the world. He was also a man of integrity, who did not let money or popularity get in the way of what was right and what he felt was wrong. What you lacked in confidence you made up in compassion. I will miss your hugs, your smiles, and your “Hi’s” as we walked around the resort with our respective families. You were a good man Josh. You touched many lives in profound ways.
