Who Was Fred Bracher?
He was a well-liked teacher and coach at Castle High for over thirty years and also coached at several other schools throughout the state as well. His hobbies included boating in the many lakes Oklahoma has to offer and being involved with local scouting organizations including Webela and Kiwanis where he was awarded the Robert Baden Powell Award. Fred had a great impact on the lives of many, including me because of how he impacted mine. Just before his death, I reflected back on the advice he gave me and how it helped shape my life. I’m glad that I got to know him before his passing and am hoping to continue doing good works in his name.
