Four University students who were found dead were identified by the police. The students were from the University of Idaho and were found off the campus. The officials revealed the identities of the individuals who were found dead. The students were identified as 20 years old Ethan Chapin, 21 years old Madison Mogen, 20 years old Xana Kernodle, and 21 years old Kaylee Goncalves. The four of them were known to each other ad also friends with each other. Social media accounts have proved that they knew each other very well. Chapin and Kernodle were a couple and were in a relationship. Mogen was from Coeur d’ Alene and Gonclaves was from Rathdrum.

Chapin was from Washington and Kernodle was from Arizona. Gonclaves family came ahead and they said that she will be remembered as a defender and a person who was a protector. They added that she was their middle child. Although the causalities were reported it was not mentioned why and how the students were killed. The reason behind eth demise was also not mentioned by the police. Police revealed that there is no one currently under suspicion as they are investigating the case. Mayor Art Bettge added that there was no danger to the community and to the general public as well. Latah county Cathy Mabbutt who is the coroner added that this might be a murder-suicide.

It was also revealed by Mayor that this case is very difficult and would require time to figure out what actually happened. Although it was revealed that this case is a crime of passion. Anyone with any kind of information about the crime and also the causalities that occurred is asked to report to the local police or contact them. Later the school revealed that Chapin was a freshman, she was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Kernodle was a junior and part of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, Mogen was a senior, majoring in marketing, and Gonclavs as well a senior but she was majoring in general studies. The university said that they apologize to the parents of the victims for their loss. This discovery was held on Sunday when the authorities found the dead bodies of the four students and the investigations began. Police revealed that there was no threat and they ensured general people’s safety as well. The police also added that the incident occurred in eh centre of Idaho city which is the north of Idaho and is about 80 miles away from Washington. This news came after the University of Virginia case revealed where three students were killed. This week two cases of students being killed or deaths were reported from the USA. Scott Green University’s president cancelled the classes on Monday and said that he extends his condolences to the student’s parents.
