Who Was Rick Eshelman?
He was an announcer and was a part of the game as well, as he used to treat and talk to everyone with the same energy. When the World of Outlaw announced the passing of Rick they added that he was known around the world. Apart from that, last month Rick was inducted into the Dirt Late Model hall of fame as well, where he achieved in a career that was over 40 years and he was one of the four announcers that were inducted into the announcers in the model hall of fame. WOF while announcing the death added that Rick was a great friend to everyone in the game and as he added notecards to the drivers he was considered a legend in it.

Apart from being an announcer who was loved by everyone and who used to have a legendary note card while he sued to announce, Rick was also a military air force veteran who had a great love for his country. It was revealed that Rick used to pay great respect to the country and the militants wherever he sued to see them and stand up for them while he had great respect for them in his heart. Many people added that rick sued to acknowledge them and paid respect while eh sued to see them anywhere around. World of Outlaws said that they are sending in their condolences to Rick’s family and said that the DIRTcar family and friends sent prayers as well. More details will be shared by the WOO later and he will be honored as well. Rick was 61 years old at the time of his death and he had his first race at the Flat rock in 1979. HE was announced at the Toldeo Speedway in Ohio in 1979 before he joined the Air Force and in 2012 he was represented in the Michigan Racing Fan Club later that year he even won the Tom Carnegie Announcer of the year award.
