Maryland Island Waterspout Incident Explained
As said by the sources, the waterspout was captured around 9 pm on Thursday and meteorologist Dan Satterfield said that the tornado caused major damage on the sites that it hit. This Tweet was released soon after the pictures and updates were given out by the residents of the area to the rescuers. Heavy damages to the homes of the people residing in the area were seen and this occurred at Smith Island and the Rhodes Point area as well. Although there was major damage caused and buildings came down, hopefully, there were no fatalities recorded in the area and eventually, there were no dead bodies as well found in the area.
A Waterspout Hit The Area Destroying Buildings & The Construction!
Maryland Governor, Larry Hogan said in a tweet and said that the management team will look up the damages and the destruction caused by the storms and the tornado and the areas which were swept away due to it. Larry Hogans also said that there were more than 50k power outages being reported until now and he also requested the affected areas to stay off the roads and especially the areas where the crew is working. He also said that Somerset County is also looking after the Waterspout damages and they will soon respond to help the damages caused. Weather reports stated that there is a severe warning of 45miles per hour of wind and possible hail as well.

A video that was possibly captured by the walkers showcased the waterspout that became a tornado ad hit the ground with full force. Photos were released online which showed severe damage to the properties, buildings, and houses as well. Maryland congressional Candidate tweeted that they are going to hold the neighborhood close to themselves as Smith Island was badly hit by a storm and buildings were destroyed due to the waterspout. Heather Mizeur is the Congressional candidate of Maryland who also added in his Tweet that they will all pray for the safety of the residents and will come together for help as well.
