Mark Walton Arrested
The running back spent three years in Miami and played games during his junior season before being suspended by the university while he investigated a possible NCAA violation. Former Miami Dolphins and Miami University football standout Mark Walton was arrested today for an armed robbery by Coral Gables Police. A search of his home found a shotgun that links him to three other armed robberies in the area. Police are still searching for the others involved.

The NFL is full of stories about athletes falling from grace, it’s just that most don’t hear about missteps unless someone famous lives in our local town. Former Miami Dolphins are on the run back and Miami University standout Mark Walton was charged Tuesday morning with involvement in theft, robbery, and kidnapping (along with three others), according to the Coral Gables Police Department. Mark Walton was a college star at the University of Miami.

He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins, appearing in 10 games for the Dolphins last season. Miami Dolphins and UM standout Mark Walton were once again arrested for armed robbery. This time, Walton was caught on camera as he attempted to rob a man outside a gas station. Walton was wearing a disguise at the time of the robbery and had a handgun on him. He reportedly demanded the man’s money and phones before fleeing the scene. It seems like Walton’s crimes are never-ending, and he needs to be stopped before he causes any more damage.
