He was a really exceptional human being and he was the president of École normale supérieure de Lyon, and director of the French Commission for Atomic Energy. He was diagnosed with many health issues in October 2021. And his health was deteriorating at a very rapid rate and he kicked the bucket. He also served as a former spokesman and was dedicated to many responsibilities.
