Goodyear Incident Topeka Tire Plant
The police reported a person getting severely injured at the Goodyear plant in the 1900 block of the NW US 24 Highway the deputies arrived at the place and the medics were there as well for the rescue. Apart from the medics and the officers, the Soldier Township Fire Department and the American Medical Response team were there for the rescue as well. The victim was then immediately transferred to the AMR in a local hospital but unfortunately, the victim did not survive and succumbed to his injuries. The incident that took the life of the worker or the employee is getting investigated and until now there is no report has been released.

A spokesperson from Goodyear, Barbara Hatala said in a statement that the whole Goodyear team is deeply concerned and regrets the passing of one of their employees from the Goodyear-Topeka Plane, they also sent their thoughts and prayers to the family and colleagues of the deceased. The spokesperson also said that they are concerned about the safety and protection of their employees, however, they have not known the cause of death and due to some privacy reasons more detailed information cannot be released. And they also stated that the investigations are held after which the team or the company can reveal the cause of the employee’s death. For such deaths that occurred during the employee is still on job and died on duty there is an organization that reports and investigates such deaths called OSHA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration which looks into the matters of the employers and the reports as well. This agency also investigates these cases and all the work and employment-related issues that arise if reported within eight hours of any incidents occurring in the companies. While OSHA also takes a complete six months to investigate a case and determine the cause of death and they also determine if Citations will be held.
